57th Annual Ashland/Hanover Olde Time Holiday Parade
Sunday, November 22, 2026 | 2:00 PM

We are excited to have ADA participate in this wonderful Ashland tradition! All ADA dancers of all ages are welcome to join us!

Please note:
Dancers age 4 and under must have a parent/guardian walk with them.
Any adult walking with our group must wear a matching ADA parade shirt.
Child shirts: $12 (includes hair bow)
Adult shirts: $18

Shirt fees will be billed to your ADA account.
Dancers will wear black leggings and tennis shoes.
If ordering shirts for multiple people, please complete a separate form for each person.
Performance Team members do not need to order a shirt—they will be leading the parade in their Performance Team uniforms.
Registration deadline: October 4, 2026
We can't wait to celebrate the holidays together and represent ADA in the parade!

When you have the greatest staff, they don’t wait for an invitation… they just show up at your house for a sleepover.
I could not comprehend what was happening! This turned into the BEST night ever. They brought the food, games, Tik Tok challenges and hysterical LAUGHTER.
These are my people, this is my crew- the ones who show up for each other—sometimes literally showing up at your house with overnight bags. I seriously always have to pinch myself-because sometimes I don’t know how all of this is real.
And if this video is any indication… we are in for the Greatest Year yet!
Thank you for making Sunday one of my favorite memories and thank you for all you do for me and ADA!
And the….Is this happening NOW? Asked on repeat- I couldn’t comprehend where we were all going to sleep and how I was going to have enough room for them all to get showered and to work on time in the morning! Love you girls! xoxoxo

So grateful to be a part of Hanover Manor Assisted Living & Alpha House Memory Care Community memorial for Polly today. We will forever be grateful for the impact she made on all of us! 'Happy and You Know It' will continue to be our theme song for the Buddy Dance Program with the Kiddie Kingdom, Inc. kids and we will think of her every time we sing and dance it! Thank you for everything you taught us, Polly! ❤

Collaborating with Kiddie Kingdom, Inc. and Hanover Manor Assisted Living & Alpha House Memory Care Community
has taught us so much.
It has taught us:
That age, ability, or where someone is in life doesn't determine how much they have to give to someone else.
That connection really doesn't have an age limit. A child and a senior can find a friendship, share a laugh, learn from each other and bring so much joy to one another.
How important it is to make people feel seen. Sometimes just sitting with someone, talking to them, holding their hand or dancing beside them can mean more than we realize.
That community means showing up for each other. That generations need each other.
That inclusion isn't just inviting someone to be part of something. It's making them feel like they truly belong.
We've watched our dancers walk into a room and completely light it up. We've watched the smiles, the laughter and the excitement that a child can bring simply by showing up and spending time with someone.
We've learned that the moments that seem so simple can become the moments we remember the most.
We are so grateful for every friendship and every memory this program has given us, and we are especially grateful that we had the opportunity to know this precious lady.
Our hearts are with her family, her friends and everyone at Hanover Manor who loved her. She will be missed!

We are so excited to introduce something NEW at Ashland Dance Academy: the Ashland Dance Academy Performance Team!

Because this is our first year offering the Performance Team, we want to make sure families understand exactly what it is and why we are so excited about it.

The Performance Team is designed for dancers ages 8+ who want more opportunities to perform, learn exciting choreography, work as a team, and represent Ashland Dance Academy in our community. This is not a competition team. Instead, it is an opportunity for dancers to develop the skills that make a group look polished, confident, and professional when performing together.

Throughout our 8-session program, dancers will work on:

Performance quality and stage presence
Precision and synchronization
Formations, spacing, and spatial awareness
Straight, uniform lines and clean transitions
Musicality and performance timing
Jumps and performance skills
Confidence performing in public settings
Leadership, responsibility, and accountability
Teamwork and positive sportsmanship
Adaptability when performing in different venues and conditions
Building friendships and a strong sense of belonging
Pride in representing Ashland Dance Academy
One of the most exciting parts of the program will be learning parade-specific performance skills. Dancers will learn how to perform while moving, maintain spacing and formations, and keep their energy high throughout an entire parade route.

Our first Performance Team will culminate with a performance in the Holiday Parade on Sunday, November 22!

Dancers that sign up will be the founding members of the Ashland Dance Academy Performance Team, helping us establish what we hope will become a fun and exciting tradition at ADA for years to come.

Program Details

Ages: 8+
Meeting Day: Fridays at 6:30 PM at Ashland Dance Academy
Cost: $200
Includes: 8-session program and performance uniform

Dancers must also be enrolled in at least one hour-long ADA class in order to participate on the Performance Team.

Attendance is required for all Performance Team sessions, as each rehearsal will build on the choreography, formations, and skills learned during the previous session.

We are so excited to see where this new team takes us. This is about more than learning a routine. It is about creating a group of dancers who can walk into a performance with confidence, work together, support one another, and proudly represent Ashland Dance Academy throughout our community.

We can't wait to see our very first Performance Team in action!
