Meet the Cast: Jacqueline Jones as Alma

Jacqueline Jones returns to CAT as Alma in Hollywood, Nebraska. Jackie specializes in solo portrayals, including Ann Richards in Ann at Firehouse Theatre, Golda Meir in Golda’s Balcony with TheatreLAB and Jewish Family Theatre, and roles in Season’s Greetings, The New Century, and Mrs. Sorken. She recently appeared in the new works WitchDuck and Safety, the Musical at Firehouse.
Her many projects include Virginia Rep’s Hugs and Kisses, Songs from Bedlam, and Firehouse’s Birth. Her screen work includes appearing with Rainn Wilson in Permanent, along with The Day Lincoln Was Shot and Hello, Mother; Hello, Daughter. She has also served as Virginia Lottery spokesperson Marge Cranberry.
Jackie last appeared with CAT in Painting Churches. Her CAT credits also include her Tabby Award-winning performance as Cecily in Quartet, Tabby-nominated Vernadette in The Dixie Swim Club, Kate in All My Sons, and Helene in Alone Together.
Beyond the stage, Jackie role-plays for organizations including VCU, Randolph Macon, Bon Secours Schools of Medicine, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice, Lifenet, Justice 3D, and Federal Crisis/Hostage Negotiation. Next, she’ll appear in Remember the Ladies, a gender-reversed production of St. John’s Church Foundation’s Liberty or Death reenactment.
