Spanish Flow starts next week at World Dance Asheville!

This class blends flamenco inspired styling and musicality with the fluidity and grounded movement of belly dance to create a dance experience that is expressive, powerful and deeply connected to the music.

In class, we’ll explore:
• flamenco inspired arm and hand styling
• foundational movements from both styles
• use of the skirt as a prop
• turns, transitions and traveling movement
• dynamic contrasts between sharpness and fluidity
• expressive combinations that build coordination and control

Spanish Flow is for dancers who are drawn to expressive movement, musical interpretation and the connection between these two rich dance traditions.

Beginners welcome.

Happy International Dance Day! 💃🪬

People have always danced at celebrations, in community, in joy, in grief. It’s one of the most human things we do.

Today is a celebration of movement, culture, and connection. Of rhythms passed down and shared, and those moments where you stop thinking and just move.

Grateful for our dance community. ❤️

In between classes, it looks like this—and yes, it’s as much work as it looks. 😅😅
Re-taping the marley (which is a workout on its own), cleaning mirrors, and getting everything ready to do it all over again.
Worth it every time.

One of Our Original Dancers: June at 100 Classes 🔥
We are so excited to celebrate June, one of our original dancers who has been with us since day one. She helped paint the studio and put our logo on the door, and she has been dancing with us ever since! Whether in belly dance or flamenco, June brings a thoughtful, steady presence and is always willing to help. We are so grateful for you and all you have helped build with us! 💖
