Being on the road is interesting. (Español al fondo)

There’s a lot of downtime.
A lot of being in new places… alone.
A lot of moments where I catch myself asking,
what am I even doing here?

I know I’m not the only one walking a path like this.
Chasing something that feels like purpose.
Saying yes to opportunities just to keep things moving forward.

And with that comes moments of facing yourself… by yourself.
Moments of questioning where this is all headed.
Moments of wondering if it was all even worth it.

I’m learning that all of it is part of the journey.

May you keep believing in yourself and the life you’re creating.
May the road meet you with more clarity than confusion.
May you recognize the wins along the way.
And may you enjoy the process… without getting lost chasing a “lucky break.”

Estar en el camino es interesante.

Hay mucho tiempo mu**to.
Muchos momentos en lugares nuevos… solo.
Momentos donde me encuentro preguntándome,
¿qué estoy haciendo aquí?

Sé que no soy el único caminando algo así.
Persiguiendo algo que se siente como propósito.
Diciendo que sí a oportunidades para seguir avanzando.

Y con eso vienen momentos de enfrentarte a ti mismo… a solas.
Momentos de cuestionar hacia dónde va todo esto.
Momentos de preguntarte si realmente ha valido la pena.

Estoy aprendiendo que todo eso también es parte del camino.

Que sigas creyendo en ti y en la vida que estás creando.
Que el camino te regale más claridad que confusión.
Que reconozcas cada pequeño logro en el trayecto.
Y que disfrutes el proceso… sin quedarte atrapado esperando un “golpe de suerte”.

It really does feel like all of my life these past years has been centered around figuring out how to get invited to stages so that I can share my art. I know I have something great to offer, I don’t allow myself to get discouraged by the constant rejection, I keep showing up for myself and for whoever happens to be in the crowd that day. I have faith that this is all leading somewhere, this and most importantly I am enjoying the journey :)

Realmente siento que todos estos últimos años de mi vida han girado en torno a descubrir cómo ser invitado a escenarios para poder compartir mi arte. Sé que tengo algo valioso que ofrecer; no me permito desanimarme por el rechazo constante. Sigo presentándome por mí mismo y por quien sea que esté en el público ese día. Tengo fe en que todo esto me está llevando a algún lugar y, sobre todo, estoy disfrutando el camino 🙂
