Dear Asheville,

Over the years, Elijah and I have grown to know and love so many of you in the community. You have watched us grow and encouraged us in countless ways since we opened in 2015.

Thanks to this wonderful town, we were able to do what we love for a living, and that was truly the best and most humbling gift y'all could have offered us.

As many of you know, we brought a strong daughter into the world in the summer of 2018. She was born with a very special heart, and we set our company aside to that we could travel to Indiana for her open heart surgeries.

You stuck with us. You waited patiently for us to book classes again. You gave us hugs when days were dark and picked us up again.

Now, Cecelia is better, but we have made the decision to move to Indiana to be close to our families. She has shown us that life is such a gift, and we want to spend as much time with them as we can while we are all still spinning 'round on this beautiful planet.

So, it is with heavy, but happy, hearts that we have decided to put our company up for sale and move on to the next chapter in our lives. We know that there is someone out there who will love and gain as much from The Paint Bug as we have.
