I sprained my hand pretty badly about 4 weeks ago and have been unable to paint. I have been very bored. So, I played around with adding collage to an old background that I had laying around. It was fun and kept me occupied in a good way. Artists gotta art, right?😊

Just finished this one! I had so much fun making it😊
- Coffee filters & inks for a unique texture
- Dried leaves & flowers from my hikes and yard add an earthy touch
- Brewed coffee gives it a rich tone
- Some acrylic paint to tie everything together

Haven’t been doing much painting at my easel recently but have been having fun with collage and with art journaling 😊

I just finished this painting that I made to celebrate the love that my husband and I share. The flowers are real dried flowers and the trees are ferns from our garden. We both love nature and the mountains and starry nights. I had him write, in his handwriting, lyrics from songs he has written for me over the years.

I named it I Choose You. Everything about this piece has deeply felt meaning for me❤️
