That’s a WRAP on the 2026 Asheville Film Festival! 🤩 Thank you to for hosting us again. This theater truly feels like home to us and we cannot thank you enough for your support. Thank you to every filmmaker, film-lover, and everyone that attended and showed up for independent film! To our staff, volunteers, and friends: we couldn’t do this without you and we could never repay you for your time and energy and dedication to this endeavor. Congratulations to our nominees and award winners! We are going to get some rest and then we’ll be back tomorrow with the results of the festival, winner announcements, more special thanks, and photos and videos. In the meantime, so long and goodnight 🌙

⭐ DAY ONE OF THE FILM FESTIVAL IS IN PROGRESS! ⭐

Strictly Appalachia is screening until 3:30PM. Runaway Café is here selling delicious empanadas, pastries, coffee, and drinks until 4:15PM. The filmmaker parlor and bar open at 3PM and the silent auction goes until 9PM tomorrow night!

⭐🤩 THE ASHEVILLE FILM FESTIVAL IS TOMORROW! 🤩⭐

61 short films from all over the world will be screened throughout the festival weekend with 33 of the films made in NC or by North Carolinian filmmakers. We're so excited to welcome you all and cannot wait to experience this weekend with you!

The film festival is being held at the Asheville Masonic Temple. Runaway Café will be parked outside offering delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch options as well as coffees, teas, and other drinks. There is also a bar outside the theater in the parlor area with beer, wine, sodas, & water.

There is a pay-to-park lot next to the temple as well as free street parking after 6PM. If you're staying downtown, the temple is within walking distance of most of the hotels.

Tickets for individual film blocks start at only $10, day passes that get you access to all the events for that day are only $39, and VIP All-Access Passes that get you into everything all weekend long are $109! If you haven't gotten your tickets or VIP passes, seats are filling up FAST so get yours today!
