History at Hand History at Hand offers 5 walking tours: Downtown Asheville architecture,The Family Store Jewish history, Biltmore Village, Montford and Riverside Cemetery

History at Hand makes history come alive through stories and anecdotes of Asheville history key to its development into a center for arts and entertainment. Tours are by appointment.. Sharon Fahrer has been guiding these walking tours for over ten years. Much of her material comes from oral history interviews as well as primary source material which she collected for local archives. Group tours

and step on bus tours are also provided by History at Hand. Besides tours History at Hand creates interpretive panels for sites or buildings.
