"TGIF (They Got it Framed!)" 🖼️🐦‍⬛

Our framers just finished up framing dozens of paintings, drawings, collages, and mixed media pieces for Open Hearts Art Center's upcoming "Dwelling in Color" exhibition! 🌈🙌🏻

The show opens next Thursday, April 30th, from 5-8pm at the Open Hearts Gallery at 217 Coxe Ave. These original artworks were all created by artists at the center and each sale helps to support and continue the important work they do there 🎨

Check out this incredible, one-of-a-kind frame our very own Jesse Lee created for this aboriginal painting a client picked up on a trip to Australia! 🌏

This custom 5" wide hand-painted & hand-textured metal-lined frame extends the colors, patterns, and textures of the painting PERFECTLY and is truly an original artwork in its own right (hand signed by Jesse too!) ✍🏻

Here's a fun piece we're "Grateful" that we got to finish for a client recently! 🙏🏻

Our customer was looking for a unique and "psychedelic" framing solution for 107 Grateful Dead ticket stubs that he's collected over the years 🎟️✌🏻

Together we landed on a background composed of different marbled papers along with matching marbled-paper-lined spacers. Topped with a rustic "barnwood" frame to emphasize the history of the stubs and UV-protecting glass to keep them from fading, this piece will serve for many years to come! 🖼️

"Happy Creatures" a brand-new exhibit by artist Ann Stowe officially opens in our Gallery tomorrow! 🌈🐘

Ann's whimsical, sparkling, wonderfully-textured animal portraits will be on display through March 20th and are sure to put a smile on your face and bring joy to your day ✨
