We are so thrilled to welcome back the incredible Erica Gabriel for Symphony in the Park! ✨🎶

This will be Erica's third performance with the Asheville Symphony, and we couldn't be more excited to share the stage with her again. As an award-winning vocalist accomplished in everything from jazz and musical theater to opera and gospel, Erica is sure to deliver a performance you won't want to miss!

We are excited to see you all in downtown Asheville at Pack Square Park on Sunday, September 6, at 7:00 pm for Symphony in the Park!

The Asheville Symphony is now offering financial aid to Asheville Middle School following cuts to its orchestra program.

Following the loss of the Asheville Middle School string program this school year, the Asheville Symphony is taking steps to help affected students continue their musical education.

We’re launching a new private lesson assistance program and expanding financial assistance for the Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra (ASYO)—giving students more opportunities to keep learning and playing while we advocate for the return of school-based string instruction.

🎻 PLAY: Private Lesson Assistance for Youth

Our new PLAY program will help eligible students from Asheville Middle School and Asheville High School continue studying a string instrument through regular private lessons.

PLAY can cover up to 75% of the cost of lessons throughout the school year. Students do not need to participate in the ASYO to apply.

🎼Expanded ASYO Tuition Assistance

We’re also expanding financial assistance for students participating in the Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Scholarships can cover up to 90% of ASYO tuition, and no student will be turned away because of financial need.
