I felt so deeply moved by vigil in downtown Asheville last night.
The beautiful alter created of branches on the steps of the Bascom Lunsford Stage

The spontaneous standing ovation for first responders wheAsheville Choral Societye stage.
The shared song led by Asheville Choral Society and the hauntingly beautiful closing hymn.
The hugs, the tears, and even shared laughter.

Yesterday, on her birthday 🎂
Vice President Kamala Harris spoke at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta and then Rev, Jamal Bryant preached the roof down from the book of Esther. “Who knows but that you have come to your position for such a time as this”.
