Super exciting!

Home to more than 500 artists, the River Arts District in Asheville invites you to immerse yourself in the local art scene. Try a glassblowing class at the North Carolina Glass Center, take a bike tour through the district, or visit the many galleries in the area.

Watch the process of ”chamberwork” by John Almaguer at the North Carolina Glass Center in the River Arts District in Asheville NC. John created this technique about 15 years ago while apprenticing in Murano\Venice Italy. It was just some drawings at that point, but about 10 years ago it was first realized while working in Asheville.
