Womansong of Asheville Womansong - Singing together for joy, social justice, and community! Dynamic community chorus

Womansong is a women's community chorus and village of up to 75 singers from Asheville NC. We are of diverse ages, musical abilities, backgrounds and perspectives. We sing for joy and the creation of community, aspiring to musical excellence and focusing on providing a safe, nurturing environment for musical expression and creativity. Accompaniment is provided by a variety of instruments, includin

g piano, flute, drums, and violin. Through its music and community efforts, Womansong brings women together to nurture our community and our world. The chorus promotes unity and honors cultural diversity with songs that celebrate many themes in women’s lives, including empowerment, spirituality, healing and humor.
