Fairy Hair Magic Spreading joy & happiness via fairy hair (sparkly hair silks) everywhere we go! ✨ Treat it like your normal hair! Avoid hair products, if possible!

Fairy Hair Magic was created by Fairy Iris in order to spread joy, happiness, & sparkles everywhere she goes - 1 strand at a time!

• Fairy hair (hair silk) is a temporary, beautiful, and sparkly way to add some flair to your everyday look or for a special holiday/event!
• It is for anyone – kids and adults!
• It's a simple, non-damaging way to add a dose of magic to your hair (

typically). Fairy Iris will isolate each strand of hair and tie a strand of hair silk/tinsel to it with great precision… and of course, add some magic at the end!
• You may wash it, comb it, brush it, blow-dry it, style it, curl it, color it, and flat-iron it (up to 350 degrees). If you book an appointment, please come with clean, dry, and well-combed-through hair. We specialize in ALL parties & events (birthdays, bridal parties, bachelorettes, holiday parties, work events)! Hi Friends,

This is a difficult and extremely sad post to make. After almost 4 years, I am closing my small business, Fairy Hair Magic & Beettan Asheville. Post-Hurricane Helene & my relocation to Atlanta, I've been struggling to keep the business afloat. It's just not sustainable without me physically being there either.

I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to spread joy & happiness to the Asheville community. I'll cherish the memories & friendships I've made through this journey. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of Asheville in this way 🩷

Hi all,

I've built Fairy Hair Magic up in the 4 years & our clients have been counting on us to get them sparkled with a dose of magic ✨

With my relocation to Atlanta & the drop in tourism {& booking} post-Hurricane, it's becoming difficult financially to keep the store open but also to find fairies to help out.

📒 Note to small biz owners {& my past self}: don't build a biz that is run solely on your own fuel, time, & effort, because at some point, you'll burnout. But more importantly, don't forget to ask for help!

🧚🏻‍♀️ Thank you to the clients who reached out over the last month to ask if I'm okay and if the storefront is still standing. By some MIRACLE, the flood just miss us on Glendale Ave. The water seemed to have stopped 50ft away from our building, although it did destroy Regeneration Station & Brother Wolf Animal Rescue down the road. 😭

💖 Our community has been through immense devastation & my heart goes out to all of my clients who were impacted and all the small business owners who lost everything.

✨ Asheville has such a strong sense of community, with small businesses at the heart of it. Just knowing this gives me complete faith that all will be okay in the end.

Since Hurricane Helene came through, it's incredibly hard to argue that there aren't guides up there and something truly magical looking after me & this small business I've built over the last 3.5 years.

➡️ With all that being said, I'm happy to announce that WE'RE OPEN for your sparkling needs! ✨

It's hard to fathom what we all went through but it's also important to try our best to get back to normalcy.
