A message from Mira Gerard:

Dear Friends,

For those of you who knew and loved my father Jonas Gerard and his beautiful work, I’m offering another small selection of Papa’s paintings from the nearly 200 I have recovered from the 2024 Hurricane Helene flood. I have been cleaning and restoring these works in my new Asheville-based studio and selling works to collectors over the past several months, and want to continue to offer them at a more accessible price. ❤️‍🔥The Fall 2025 Archive Auction ends TOMORROW!!❤️‍🔥

As part of the auction I am also letting go of some of my favorites from his archive, including some of his paint aprons, rare works on paper, his paint-encrusted studio brushes and tools, several gorgeous and gem-like hand painted ceramic tiles, and much more. It’s a great opportunity to collect special archival pieces from Jonas Gerard’s studio!

And it’s definitely not too late to register! You can shop the archive sale from now until tomorrow night (Sunday, October 5) at 8PM. Good luck and happy bidding - I hope you win something you love!!

🎈In celebration of the late painter Jonas Gerard’s 84th Birthday in the stars, his daughter, Mira Gerard, is releasing special archival objects and art from Jonas’ life and work.

🌈 Discover rare and unique items including vintage prints, studies, small sculptures, painting tools, clothing, memorabilia, restored paintings recovered from the flood, and select paintings from Mira’s private collection.

💞This is a wonderful opportunity to collect some of the most unique works and objects from Jonas’ expressive life at a more accessible price, in the spirit of Jonas’ generosity and exuberance.

Another gorgeous painting has been restored for a client! Jonas’ daughter Mira is lovingly and painstakingly cleaning and resuscitating over 150 of his precious paintings recovered from the devastating flood of 2024 in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Each piece has new provenance inscribed on the back by Mira. These paintings, while arguably more valuable now, are being sold at a discount due to the fact that they are flood survivors.

Jonas used simple bristle brushes that are now rich with the patina of repeated use, encrusted with paint on the handles. These are like works of art in their own right, radiating energetically with the joy and creative energy that Jonas embodied. Each brush comes with a note of certified authenticity signed by Jonas’ daughter Mira Gerard (). 🎨 🖌️ ✨💫 🎄 🎅

This painting was titled to reflect one of Jonas’ favorite concepts. When he painted, and in his life, he embodied living in the moment…. Embracing uncertainty and allowing us all to be a part of his journey. This piece and all of Jonas’ other available 𝙏𝙮𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙮𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙮aughter Mira’s gallery, in Asheville NC. We have a finite number of his works left, and they are absolutely gorgeous! The man was prolific- when he left is, there were close to 800 works- we have around 200 left and we ship worldwide. Come visit and see any and all of his work- it’s here!
