Sunshine Only Sometimes: Archives Vol. 2, 1972–1975 continues Anthology Recordings’ excavation, and exploration, of southern singer, songwriter, and psychedelic serviceman Robert Lester Folsom’s bountiful archives. Recorded across Georgia in various bedrooms, a barn, and a motel room with a reel-to-reel and a revolving cast of whip smart studio musicians in the first half of a dazed and confused decade, Sunshine Only Sometimes furthers Folsom’s place in the canon of long lost but eventually found independently spirited, high-flying American folk rock.

Unlike similar iconoclasts with crystal vision who held forth with the oppressive thumb of a musical dictator, Folsom was ever in service of song, standing equally aside his collaborators, which uniformly engendered affinity and respect lasting to this day. While a tick higher than the second-tier, the mountaintop was always narrowly out his grasp. Though, with the right set of opportunities, bolstered by talent and drive, Folsom, if not as a stand-alone, star-quality artist, could have led the career of any number of songwriters behind the curtain who rode the magical musical continuum across the decades with faceless success.

Perhaps it was Robert and company’s playing “weird spacey stuff and ballads,” as guitarist VanBrackle describes, in small town Georgia skating rinks, bowling alleys, and school dances expecting Top 40 dance-ready hits which held them down. Perhaps it was simply location. Though, the music of Sunshine Only Sometimes is composed of an intrinsic ability to hear the music truly playing, as opposed to the space in air heard by the lay-ear, which places Folsom’s music in a timeless space primed for perennial (re)discovery.

On Sale Now: Join us on Saturday, July 11th, for Conway The Machine's grimy, New York rap live here at Eulogy. Tickets are now available at the link in our bio.

Hailing from Buffalo's East Side, rapper Conway the Machine found success as a musician after suffering a near-fatal shooting in 2012. Matching gritty bars with a methodical, menacing delivery, the MC became a significant player in New York's underground scene, signing a deal with Eminem's Shady Records in 2017. He issued his debut album, From King to a God, in 2020. Alongside brother and fellow rapper Westside Gunn, the MC founded Griselda Records, which became a key component of the late-2010s resurgence of grimy New York rap.

He released his 2015 debut album, The Devil's Reject, on Griselda. Seeing the success of Gunn's frequent Hi**er Wears Hermes series, Conway upped his work ethic, releasing his sophomore album, Reject 2, and the collaborative project Hall & Nash (with Westside Gunn) in the latter half of 2015. Over grimy instrumentals produced by close collaborator Daringer, Conway used wordplay to relate his struggles with violence and street life, while also replicating the mafioso stylings of New York forefathers Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G.

Working closely with local contemporaries from Roc Marciano to Skyzoo, the MC released a rapid-fire string of four albums across 2016 and 2017, building Griselda's profile up enough to land a deal with Eminem's Shady Records. The following year, in addition to issuing his fourth solo album, Blakk Tape, Conway began his Everybody Is F.O.O.D. album series, releasing the first two projects in August and December. The third volume appeared in April 2019 and was followed by Conway's first single with Eminem, "Bang," which appeared in 2020 on his debut studio album, From King to a God. He paired with Method Man for the track "Lemon" later that year, and in 2021 he released the full-length efforts God Don't Make Mistakes and La Maquina.

Guitarist Gussie Larkin is a master of the fuzz-smothered riff, and along with Ezra Simons’ off-kilter drumming, they’ve been sending punters into transcendental states since their emergence in 2016. Their debut album ‘Floating Being’ (Stolen Body Records, 2019) quickly became an underground hit, seeing them embark on multiple tours across Australasia and Europe in the years since its release. Along the way they’ve picked up high praise from BBC Radio6, Bandcamp and headbangers all over the world.

After touring with American multi-instrumentalist Ty Segall, the duo caught the attention of iconic Los Angeles based rock' n' roll label In The Red Records - an imprint that has released albums from the likes of Thee Oh Sees, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Wand and Ty Segall himself. In The Red promptly signed them, and released their second album Great Haunting in June 2024. Written during the pandemic lockdown era while holed up binging on 1970’s and 80’s horror movies, the nine-track album is a doom-soaked overload — conjuring vast sonics from just guitar, drums and yowls.

Earth Tongue have hit the road time and time again, playing over 50 shows throughout Europe and the UK in 2024 and sharing stages with the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, IDLES, Ty Segall, Acid King, Brant Bjork and Kikagaku Moyo. Earth Tongue’s live show is a powerful, cult-like experience - the perfect mix of throw-your-horns-up heavy, and can’t-stop-listening catchy. Their third studio album Dungeon Vision was produced by Ty Segall and released on In The Red Records in February 2026.

Just Announced & On Sale Now: Join us on Friday, July 31st for Holy Wave, live here at Eulogy. Tickets are now available at the link in our bio, or fee-less via the Box Office.

In Ensenada, Mexico, where the Pacific horizon cuts a clean, unwavering line, Holy Wave recorded their latest full-length, i’m DADA, a record that feels both expansive and newly concentrated for the subterranean pop four-piece. Stepping outside the United States was less a retreat than a shift in perspective, creating distance to recognize a new sound that had been slowly taking shape among them. i’m DADA quickly revealed its character: more propulsive, more candid, and their most structurally deliberate work to date.

The songs began reflecting conversations about fatherhood and partnership, breakups and estrangement, the queasy acceleration of AI, and what it means to remain present and principled while the world lurches unpredictably forward.

This tension is not announced but absorbed into the music. Holy Wave stretches their familiar sense of woozy atmosphere into something leaner and more direct. There are more loops and samples woven throughout than before, grooves that feel constructed, cyclical, hypnotic. Some tracks drift toward dub’s elastic spaciousness; others pulse with cinematic downtempo gravity. There is a fresh sense of momentum throughout the record, rhythms that pull forward, dream-saturated textures, sheets of fuzz, and softly suspended vocals.

…there was a golden era of creation, inspiration, and replication that happened in pop music from 1983 to 1992. It especially happened in the UK. This was a time when artists, and outsiders discovered the technology of synthesizers and created a musical revolution and a cultural inflection point.
