If you’re looking for a fun, show-stopped Jamón Cutting Experience is a corporate favorite and an excellent team building activity. Guests learn the real technique behind carving Jamón Ibérico from an expert carver, then take a turn with the knife themselves. It’s hands-on, a little competitive, and always a conversation starter. Corporate clients keep adding it to their private events for exactly that reason. Winter is our busiest season for holiday parties, and dates are going quickly.

Summer may still be in full swing, but leaf season is waiting around the corner. In just a couple months, our ridgelines will begin turning gold and rust, adding a warm glow to soften the crisp fall air, and the light downtown will begin to catch that same golden hue that only fall can bring.

A beautiful room helps, of course. But the details are what makes an event feel personal: the menu, the florals, the cake, the floorplan, the lighting, and the people working behind the scenes.

For Yuliia and Bryce’s wedding, we loved collaborating with their florist, , whose soft spring florals brought color, texture, and a romantic feel to La Bodega. .ua’s baked goods added a meaningful touch of home for Yuliia and complemented the wedding’s soft, seasonal palette.

These collaborations are one of our favorite parts of hosting events at La Bodega and the Wine Cellar. Our team works closely with clients, planners, florists, bakers, rental teams, and other vendors to help each event feel personal, polished, and true to the occasion.

Tomorrow night at La Bodega!

Our first visiting chef pop-up at Events by Cúrate is happening tomorrow, January 22, from 5:00–8:00 PM in the La Bodega café space at 32 S Lexington Ave, featuring Amelie: A New Orleans Café by Chef Paul.

Paul will be serving à la carte dishes inspired by his childhood growing up in New Orleans, with $1 from every dish sold donated to , supporting addiction recovery in our community.
