Just like that, our little nest got a little cozier! We are so excited to welcome Rayven of The Rayven’s Nest to Art Garden AVL — a talented Asheville-based artist whose adorable crocheted critters are going to make you smile the moment you lay eyes on them. 🐸🐦

Inspired by local wildlife, beloved little creatures, and characters from popular media, Rayven handcrafts the most wonderfully charming creations — and every piece supports her dream of being a full time artist. That’s exactly the kind of dream Art Garden was built to support, and we couldn’t be more honored to be part of her journey. 💛

🌿✨ **Welcome to Art Garden, Paige Lisa Carter!**

We are so thrilled to introduce our newest artist — **Paige Lisa Carter**, a watercolor and mixed media painter whose work will stop you right in your tracks. Working in watercolor, ink, and colored pencil, Paige creates rich, layered pieces that explore the deep connections between humanity and the natural world — the cycles of life, growth, loss, and renewal that tie us all together. Her titles alone tell a story: *”To Reach is to Release,” “When it Rains, Let the Air In,” “Seeking Heaven.”* 🌊🌿

At a time when Art Garden itself is still growing back from the roots up after Hurricane Helene, welcoming an artist whose work is so rooted in resilience and rebirth feels like more than coincidence. We are so glad she found her way to us. 💛

NC Mural Monday!

Today's beautiful mural of a girl and her canine is located in downtown Asheville at the corner of Woodfin Street and Lexington Ave. It's signed "ENDICO" in the upper right corner, which leads us to local artist, Dillon Endico, whose shop Art Garden AVL is just around the corner on Lexington.

🌿🎨 **Returning Artist Feature: Caroline Dougherty / Caroline Dougherty **

One of the things that makes Art Garden special is the sheer range of artists who call it home — and Caroline Dougherty, the Asheville-based illustrator and designer behind **Thousand Wrecks**, is a perfect example of that. With a passion for telling compassionate, meaningful stories through her work, Caroline creates richly detailed illustrations that draw from mythology, folklore, literature, and the darker, more mysterious corners of the imagination. Her work has been featured in galleries across the country, and we are so proud to have it back on our walls. 🖋️✨

After everything Asheville’s creative community lost to Hurricane Helene, having artists like Caroline return means more than we can put into words. Every piece back on display is a small act of rebuilding — and together they add up to something that feels a lot like hope. 💛
