I have several titles for this new piece. Maybe you can help me choose. Made with layered stained glass, locally foraged yellow and grey stone, smalti, filati, and ceramic, this piece was created with the intention of utter surrender, trusting the universe, and allowing life to flow. A deep bow to letting go of control and trying to force an outcome. It’s really a different way of being in the world, and it turns out that *magic* can come out of this deep listening, this deep trust, this letting go.

I’ve been listening to a song that goes like this…
Water be my teacher
Water carry me
Teach me transformation
Take me to the sea.
Show me how you breakthrough rock
Flow around what tries to block
Water be my teacher
Water carry me.

So the title options are:
1. Trust and Allow
2. Water be my teacher
3. Surrender

What resonates?

Recently a couple of different local potters have given me their mistake or broken ceramics to give them new life in my Mosaics. Makes me feel connected to my community, and also happy to upcycle things that might otherwise be thrown away.

Happy Pride Month! The natural world tells it all: ALL the colors of the rainbow are found in nature. I foraged these beautiful colorful rocks on the coast of California and they delight me.

Pebbles, driftwood, slate.
