How will you enjoy the longest day of the year? ☀

PRCS is joining Parks and Recreation Departments around Virginia for Play All Day VA on Sunday, June 21, which marks the official start of astronomical summer.

It's a day of celebration, and the VRPS: Virginia Recreation & Park Society has organized a statewide initiative to provide free programs and services for the community from sunrise to sunset.

PRCS is inviting residents to make time to play at multiple free activities and programs at parks and centers across the County - including the Ashburn Recreation & Community Center (ARCC)!

Bounce your way through inflatables, play lawn games, and unwind with relaxing yoga on the lawn. Whether you're looking for high energy fun or a peaceful moment in the sun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Free admission to ARCC all day!

Inflatables and lawn games will be available from 10:00am-1:00pm.

Yoga on the lawn will be offered from 10:00-11:30am and 4:00-5:00pm. Please bring your own mat. 🧘

First aid and CPR training save lives! ➕

ARCC offers American Red Cross certification classes in adult and pediatric CPR, First aid, and AED. Courses are taught in a blended learning format, with online modules to complete at your convenience followed by 3 hours of hands-on practice and instruction.

CPR certification is required by many workplaces, and prompt performance of CPR by a trained individual can double or triple the chances of surviving a cardiac emergency that occurs outside a hospital. 🚑

We have evening and weekend classes with availability for June, July and August! Ages 12 & older, $80 registration fee.

The term Snoezelen comes from Dutch and combines Snuffelen (to explore) and Doezelen (to relax). Together, the name reflects the purpose of these spaces: providing opportunities for both sensory exploration and relaxation✨
