A day in the life but make it MISS ALEXA. 💅🔥

Big energy. Bigger personality. A little sass. A LOT of iconic. And somehow, she still finds time to teach. 😂

We’re tagging along from start to finish to see what a full day looks like with the one and only, Miss Alexa!

Buckle up. This one’s gonna be fun. 💃✨

You know the moves. You know the style. But do you know the man behind them?🎩👀

We’re kicking off our Dance History series with one of the most influential names in jazz dance: Bob Fosse.

Turned-in knees, rolled shoulders, isolations, jazz hands, bowler hats. His unmistakable style changed dance forever.

Swipe ➡️ for a little Fosse 101.

We are SO excited to officially welcome Mr. Jose to the Mission family! 🖤🤍

Mr. Jose has 20 years of experience in the dance industry as a dancer, teacher, choreographer, competition judge and convention faculty member. He also brings a TON of energy and fun into the room.

He’ll be teaching Jazz at Mission this season AND taking over our brand new Adult Hip Hop + Jazz Funk class every Thursday night! 🙌

We are so excited for our dancers (and our adults 😉) to dance with him!

Welcome to Mission, Mr. Jose!!

Mommy & Me or Little Movers 🤔 What’s the difference?

If you have a 2 or 3-year-old, you may have noticed that the ages for these classes overlap, and that’s intentional!

The biggest difference is independence.

In Mommy & Me, a parent or caregiver participates right alongside their dancer. It’s a fun, low-pressure way for little ones ages 1.5–3 to experience music, movement, and dance while having their favorite grown-up right there with them.

Little Movers is designed for ages 2–3 who are ready to head into the studio on their own! They’ll dance, play, use their imaginations, and start learning things like listening to their teacher, following directions, taking turns, and participating in a class independently.

There’s no rush to move from one to the other, and one isn’t “more advanced” than the other. It’s really about where your child is right now and what environment will help them feel most comfortable and confident.

And if you’re not sure? Ask us! We’re always happy to help you figure out the best place to start. ❤️
