Join us on Saturday! Shoeless Sounds is excited to share this event from another wonderful local venue. When small listening rooms support each other, artists win, audiences win, and the whole scene grows!
We have a lineup change for this weekend’s show! Excited to welcome and to the Leesburg Junction on Saturday!
Jillian Matundan is an award-winning, multi-instrumental singer-songwriter, trade unionist, and first-generation Filipina American who wins over audiences with her resonant vocals, acute and relatable observations, unique guitar-style, and sharp wit. Since returning to music in 2019, Jillian has been on a tear, winning songwriting awards (including a 2026 Wammie for Best Folk/Bluegrass Song and fifteen Mid-Atlantic Song Awards), playing numerous shows, and collaborating with musicians on stage and in the studio. She released her debut EP, “Hangin’ On” in 2020. “Singing to the Moon”, her first full-length album, debuted at No. 6 on the FAI Folk Chart in March 2024.
This amazing musician began training as a concert violinist at the age of THREE and quickly picked up piano, flute, and sitar as well. Before her teen years were over she had also taught herself guitar, string bass, and percussion. Pair all that instrumental talent with a resonant voice often likened to Tracy Chapman and, well, Matundan puts on one heck of a show.
Come hear Brendan and Jillian this Saturday in downtown Leesburg! Tickets are just $15 and it’s a BYOB show so grab a bottle of wine (or drink of choice) on your way to share with a friend! 🍷🎸
