Every skater has their home rink, we were proud to be theirs.

This community is tightly knit and made up of families throughout the area. Many children spend long hours here practicing daily, which means their parents often spend long hours here too. So we know many of the children and adults who skate here as well as their families.

We were devastated to learn that members of our skating community were on the American Airlines flight from Wichita that crashed on Wednesday night. While we still do not have a confirmed list of who all those people are, we believe that there were at least 15 who are connected to us and/or the MedStar Capitals Iceplex. Because we do not have a confirmed list, we will not be able to name names.

Our hearts go out to everyone involved. This is just such a terrible tragedy and so counter to the environment of skating and joy that we’re used to. We are thankful for the counselors and therapy dogs we have had on site for our families and staff.

There is a candlelight skate scheduled for Sunday for our skating families only. Out of respect for their privacy, we will not allow the public or press.

At this time, we ask you for your prayers and condolences for the families as well as respect for their privacy.

Yay! Let’s eat!!

Dreams are finally starting to come together.
Today officially marks the day when the
Kuhns, Keatings, and the Maddens welcome Rai’s Pizza to Ashburn!

We aren’t all family by blood, but we’re family! Every single person in the photo has had to sacrifice something because WE BELIEVE.
We do it for the Kids, we do it for the future.
We do it to build greatness for our Mini’s.
But Most of all we do it for our Communities!

Please be patient with us as we navigate the needs and wants of Ashburn. Not every location is the same, we aren’t cookie cutting a franchise, we are Rising up to greatness for You.

Shout Out to Ashburn Ice House for allowing us to join their family and being a great supporter in all of this.
