Brandi Nicole McLeain is #00 in THE WOLVES!

Brandi Nicole McLeain is an actor, wordsmith, and director based in NYC. CT born, Baltimore bred and Dallas fed, everything Brandi creates is born of a love and reverence for storytelling. Brandi currently holds a BFA in Theater Studies with emphasis in acting, playwriting, and directing from Southern Methodist University (SMU). Brandi is honored to be making her Asbury Park Theater Company debut. She’d like to give reverence to her ancestors, without whom she would not have the freedom to pursue her dreams, her parents for believing in those dreams, and her friends and family for supporting them. Julia is thrilled to be making her Asbury Park Theater Company debut! She is a recent graduate of American University. Naia Edmonds is #7 in THE WOLVES!

Naia Edmonds is an actor proudly born and raised in good ol’ New Jersey. She graduated last May from Rutgers University with her B.A in Theatre Arts, and two minors in Dance and Psychology! This June, she finished up her fellowship with the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, where she worked with McCarter Theatre and Jersey City Theatre Center’s artistic and producing departments on both of their respective seasons. A few of her favorite roles include: Joanne (Company), Hanschen (Spring Awakening), Iphis (As Above, So Below: A New Musical).

Charlie Dubendorfer is #25 in THE WOLVES!

Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Charlie is currently a junior at Rider University getting her BFA in Acting for Film, TV, and Theater with a minor in Stage Management. She is so excited to be a part of this show and to make her debut with Asbury Park Theater Company. Some of her previous credits at Rider University include Lost Girl (Mother), From Up Here (U/S Grace), Stupid F***ing Bird (Conrad), and The Importance of Being Earnest (Cecily). Blake Wilton Donovan is thrilled to be making her Asbury Park Theatre Company debut as #11. Her recent credits include Viola in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, as well as performances in Big: The Musical, Freaky Friday, Spamalot, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, and Newsies. On screen, Blake has appeared in Heart of Gold, That’s When the Music Died, F #$& You Old Man, If You Show Me Yours I’ll Show You Mine, and Miracle. Blake is thrilled to share this story with you and hopes you find something of your own within it. Time to start meeting the cast of our upcoming production: THE WOLVES!

Sophie Claire Cox (she/her), ( #13), is a theatre performer and choreographer. She is thrilled to return to Asbury Park Theater Company, where she recently made her debut as Emily Webb in Our Town. Her favorite performance credits include Kelly and Margo in New Works presented by Act Out, Diva! Festival, Jenna Rolan in Be More Chill (West Chester University), and a Ballerina in Cinderella (Surflight Theatre). Sophie can be found at Six Flags Great Adventure, where she performs as an Acrobatic Clown through November 1st! AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT!

Asbury Park Theater Company's first mainstage production under newly appointed Producing Artistic Director Nate Patten will be The Wolves, Sarah DeLappe's Pulitzer Prize finalist play that has captivated audiences across the country with its sharp wit, emotional honesty, and unforgettable portrait of young women finding their voices.

Running September 25 through October 4, 2026 and directed by Patten, The Wolves follows a high school girls' indoor soccer team as they warm up before their weekly games. Over the course of seemingly ordinary pre-game conversations, the team grapples with friendship, ambition, identity, loss, and the pressures of growing up.

OPEN AUDITIONS will be held on Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18, from 6:00pm - 10:00pm, with invited callbacks on Wednesday, August 19, from 6:00pm - 10:00pm. We're conducting a wide-reaching search for performers throughout New Jersey and the greater New York area and encourages actors of all backgrounds and experience levels to audition.

🎉 BIG NEWS! Asbury Park Theater Company is entering an exciting new era under producing artistic director, Nate Patten!

Under Patten's leadership, the company is embracing a bold artistic vision focused on presenting both beloved classic titles and compelling contemporary works, fostering meaningful community engagement, and bringing exceptional theatrical experiences to audiences across the Jersey Shore.

Patten is a New York-based director, music director, and writer whose career spans Broadway, national tours, and acclaimed regional productions.

The company's upcoming season will include a production of Sarah DeLappe's Pulitzer Prize finalist play The Wolves, a holiday concert event directed by Anthony Fett, and the continuation of APTCo's expanding youth theatre education programs, including this summer's production of Footloose: Youth Edition.

"As a Toms River native, the Jersey Shore is part of my DNA," said Patten. "It is an incredible honor to take over as the Producing Artistic Director of Asbury Park Theater Company and bring together artists from New York as well as the incredible local talent in the Jersey Shore area. We have assembled the most extraordinary team here, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be able to produce exciting and original theatre in Asbury Park."
