Tony Cincotta ran FE unofficially for over 6 years utilizing venues such as The Stone Pony, Middletown KOC, Keansburg American Legion, Red Bank Internet Cafe, etc. and is now back in the game hoping to revive the local music scene back into a place where people can feel safe, meet new people and share a joined love for music.

So this person, who because I'm a nice guy will remain anonymous, told me that I shouldn't sing along like I'm a big fan of the bands I book because it makes me less credible as a promoter. I literally "HA"'d in his face and told him people like him need to STOP being promoters. Sorry I'm not money hungry, I pay out everything and sometimes I lose. I've lost a lot of money since I've started this thing but I don't give a s**t because I've never been happier than finally being part of a music community again. I threw a show this Saturday that, while being a great time, just turned out to be a disaster. I feel awful that my first time working with Daly's Gone Wrong, one of my favorite bands, they had to stay so late and play to a diminished audience because of it; but there was literally nothing I could do about it. I'm not going to get into it, but promise me this wasn't my bad. I just want it to be known that I care so much about our music scene and I'm about to start expanding this even though I barely have enough time to s**t. I wanna build a music scene we can all be proud of; an empire. I want people to know NJ does it best again. We're breeding such talented bands these days it's so hard to keep up. We all need to band together and work a little harder and get these names out there. We need to stop pointing blame about "it's the promoter's job" "it's the band's job" "money" BLAH fu***ng blah". It's all of our job who claim to care so much about music - fans included. Get back out there, people; and talk about this s**t. I went to go see Cross Town Train on Friday by myself because I knew I'd hate myself if I didn't see them. F**k the fashion; bring back the passion. If you agree with me, prove it by sharing this. Ya dig?

All around amazing evening. Raised by wolves kicked us off with a hard-hitting set, I can't wait to work with them more. Awesome dudes who stuck from start to finish to support everyone; that's the right way to be.

Ire & Sentiment welcome back to the scene! I remember way back when playing with you at Ramapo for the first time YEARS ago.

Biggest ups to On Your Marks for playing a bill that they don't necessarily "fit" on and absolutely CRUSHING it. We need more mixed genre shows.

Premonitions great to meet all you dudes officially, the two singer thing I haven't seen since probably The Survivors like a decade ago. My personal opinion you should consider a bassist, but otherwise pretty tight bu****le!

I had so much fun playing with my new best friends in Franchise. I want to thank everyone who came up to us and welcomed us to the scene. For a first show on a stage we obviously need some improvements but that does nothing but excite me to get better.

BACK AND FORTH is hands down my new favorite hardcore band, next time we hang I'm gonna know all the words, promise. We should play together A LOT more.

My first time seeing KNUCKLE UP! and I can't wait to see them again. What an awesome way to end the night, but f**k am I sore!

Tip of my hat to the entire NJ local scene. You guys took something that has been DEAD for a long time and breathed the life back into it. Last night was incredible, if you weren't there I seriously just feel bad for you; it was magical. Everyone.

Save Face, you guys got us all going. Not a lot of bands that are first on the bill rise to the occasion but you guys definitely set the proper tone.

North Runner, coming all the way down from NY last minute, couldn't have asked for more. Looking forward to working/playing with you in the future.

The Stolen, first time working with you guys and certainly won't be the last. Energy for days.

On Your Marks, the only thing all of my friends were saying last night is how far you've come as a band. It goes without saying that you did a great job but most bands remain stagnant. You guys have an unbelievable determination to keep improving. What I saw last night was inspiring. But I swear to god if you tease me with GJ again I'm going to murder one of you.

Batten Down The Hatches. Nuff said.

Cross Town FU***NG Train. THAT'S how you have a fu***ng CD show guys!! From the sing-a-longs to Dad playing bass to the sheer passion you guys have for what you do, the love and support of your friends and family comes as no surprise. Very excited to see what you guys do next.

And MOST IMPORTANTLY, the audience. A lot of you guys were thanking me last night but the truth is, I deserve nothing. Coming full circle on this ridiculously long post, you guys have created something very special. One day when you're not quite as young you're going to realize how special it is. These are the best times of your life and you need to personally thank all the photographers for documenting such historic nights. If I can promise you one thing, it's that we will have many more.

I got so much love for you all, truly. Thank you for an incredible evening. -Tony

New @ 8pm Eastern. For real this time. And seriously, I am so excited to hear what you all think. I've never been more proud of anything I've ever done or been a part of. This band is going to be very special.

IMPORTANT: It came to my attention on March 23rd at Holmdel Firehouse someone purposely clogged the toilets and it is now costing them hundreds of dollars in damages. Guys, do I really need to stress how rare it is for a place like the firehouse to even allow punk shows? Whoever did this does not deserve to be at shows. Please stop fu***ng up our scene; it's on life support as it is. People have been around a long time know how many venues dissipate from this childish behavior. Please share this post.
