Tikkun Olam makes me think of Gaza today.
I finished writing this song the day before I performed it 17 yrs ago and have never played it ever again since then. Remarkably the ensemble performing it had a couple times rehearsing it the day before. As I grow older and I see the world and my family falling apart this songs continues to resonate deeply within my heart and soul. I pray someday we reject all leadership that brings us more pain violence and darkness and elect those that believe in Tikkun Olam and bring us closer to repair. 🙏🏽💜
