Featured artist ✨. Lauren is an Asbury based artist and she creates painted healing rocks.

She was inspired for the idea of hand painting and custom making Healing Rocks after visiting a retreat where she studied many holistic practices. Healing Rocks can have a quote or an image that has a personal meaning or just something you find inspirational. Lauren donates proceeds to the charity “To write love on her arms”. An extraordinary find: “Virgin de Candeleria Fountain” fuses cultural beliefs, art, and traditions into a beautiful fountain ⛲️ ✨

The fusion of cultures can be seen in 3 ways. Talavera tiles form the exterior, the design is modeled after a catholic alter, and the Virgin Mary is clothed in a traditional Hipil, a Yucatecan dress still warn to this day.

The talavera is a combination of pots, vases, tiles and plates.

The Virgin Mary dressed in the traditional hipil is front and center in the fountain, and surrounded by four Saints:
San Bernardo de Siena
Santa Luca
San Juan
San Servacio

This fountain is over 30 feet high, and spreading over 20 feet.

Finding a new appreciation for the meaning “collab” art. This piece is hand embroidered by locals of the Yucatán. Stitch by stitch, the energy flowing from this piece was beyond magnetic. You could feel the unity and love that went into creating it.
