Arvada Chorale

Arvada Chorale We are a true community chorus in the heart of Arvada that welcomes singers of all ages and abilities.

Singing for 40+ years, music brought us together but our spirit keeps us together
Like, Follow, & subscribe to our newsletter to stay in touch! The Chorale offers an annual concert series and performs at special events throughout the Denver area. In recent years we have collaborated with community orchestras and chamber quartets; a cappella, bluegrass, Irish, brass and jazz ensembles; assisted liv

ing residents and high school students. We seek to show young musicians that you can sing all your life! Diversity, equity and inclusion are interdependent components of the Arvada Chorale’s community of artists. Our aim is to foster an environment where every singer feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve individual and common goals. This includes providing opportunity and access for all people across differences of race, age, color, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, religion, national origin, migratory status, disability/abilities, political affiliation, veteran status, and socioeconomic background. The Arvada Chorale receives funding in support of its mission from several granting organizations, including the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, the Arvada Vitality Alliance and Colorado Creative Industries.

This upbeat traditional Zambian folk song “Bonse Aba” was our spring concert opener and it was so much fun & Singing with the talented drummers of the Pan Jumbies was incredible and the message of the song - togetherness and unity through song- is something we can always stand behind here at the Arvada Chorale!

This was a fun one from our spring concert! Jen rocking the solo, Christian rocking the harmonica, and John rock in the bass guitar while the choir rocked out their best stomps, claps, and dance moves. “Help Somebody” by Susan Werner is a song full of soul, and sends a pretty good message wouldn’t you say?

We teased this song, “O Love” by Elaine Hagenberg, throughout our rehearsal season because it’s just so beautiful and hard not to share. Our own member Cari Epstein played the cello beautifully on this piece, and on the piano.

This snippet is from our Spring concert this past weekend where we featured several contemporary pieces and the beautiful work of St. Francis in the Americas: A Caribbean Mass.
