I think it was a good call to postpone the opening of the festival until this week. The grounds look much much better and I don’t think anyone’s gonna slide down the hill when they park their car. Things are looking good and I’m really excited.!

Both kilns have been down for a couple weeks. Today I was able to repair one of them.
There was a short in one of the wires coming from the top thermocouples. It caused the reading to fluctuate wildly going from actual temperature to 2000+ degrees and back again in seconds. The computer didn’t believe it and shut the kiln down. It wasn’t wrong.

The new bowls are all trimmed. I love the profile. What do you think?
