St. Louis Cigar Box Guitar Club

St. Louis Cigar Box Guitar Club The group began almost immediately following the 2014 annual St. Louis Cigar Box Guitar Festival held each year.

We started meeting on the 3rd Saturday of each month and it has remained so!

Today Herget our club’s founder hands over a check to Dave Paulsen Corbitt of Six String Heroes for $640 matching what they received from the St Louis Cigarbox Guitar Music Festival held May the 30th.
We were thrilled to know that a total of 6 guitars can be purchased for veterans as well as providing them with lessons! Thank to everyone who has supported us to reach this goal.We also stopped by and paid a visit to Alona Casagrand-Cochran at Encore Thrift Store and gifted some cigar box guitars and a whole lot of cigar boxes . Our dear friend Norman Guittar passed away recently and These were donated by Dolores Guittar and her son James
So it was her wishes to donate to another charity . It was a grand day indeed!

Good Morning Cigarbox guitar friends. We will be getting together at 21 Rock
Today at noon. Looking forward to seeing you there. We will be presenting a check to Six String Heroes from our proceeds of The 13th annual Cigarbox Guitar Festival held back in May and we will discuss plans for the 14th annual Cigarbox Guitar Fest. We will have some cigar boxes available for those of you who show up and help you get started with building your own Cigarbox Guitar!
Come on down and enjoy a cool beverage and a burger and visit!
