Wishing you a happy/safe Memorial Day weekend! We want to always remember those who gave their life to defend our country and it's freedoms!

We also wanting to let everyone know that we've added a few things to our repair supply line up! We've had the 3D printed splicing blocks for a bit but we've added some fun colors - pink, purple, green/red, white, brown, orange and a few others in addition to what we already have. We also have added 25' rolls of the 7/32" splicing tape. They are $7.49 a roll if you purchase them on our website or through eBay (price is a little high due to fees - $7.99). We're working on few other things to add and will let you know when they're ready to be unveiled!

Have some new 8-track releases in the work. Some will be out in September and the others very soon. We'll post them as soon as we have more info and a link for purchase!

Keep in mind that most of these tapes are nearly 60 years old! Most of the good stuff was well played and the labels show it! Some were kept in cases and still look decent. If you're after pristine carts, those are usually your grandparents tapes that most people these days can't stand to listen to....

Happy Spring Break! We are putting up ALL players for sale! All under dash units except for 4 tracks/playtape & the Hudson player (they are on sale too) for $10 + s/h! Yes, you heard that right! $10 ea.! Need to make room for some more great stuff! These have been tested at some point but are being sold as is. No warranties/returns. All other component players/recorders are on sale as well.

We also have all tapes up for sale at 25% off! The sale doesn't apply to additional tune-up charges on the tapes that haven't been tuned up.

Just wanted to clarify something if we didn't clarify it when we put up the last post about the new 8-track recording tape. Each 5" reel has about 15-16 minutes of tape per program which will be about an hour of recorded music. I'm not sure we made that clear before.

We have had folks asking about sensing foil in strips instead of the rolls we have now. We used to have them, but they became no longer available. We are working on making sensing foil strips available for sale again. They will probably be in sheets of 10 splices that are about 1/2-3/4". Will keep you posted on those!

Just wanted to make this quick post about some of you guys may find of interest! We just purchased some new (not old 70's stuff) 8-track recording tape. This is not reel to reel tape, but graphite backed 8-track tape. These are on 5" reels. There is approx. 300' (some of the boxes may say 360' but the few we've tested were 300'). This is approximately 15-16 minutes of recording time. They come in a white cardboard box. If you are interested in purchasing a reel or multiple reels, please email us at [email protected]. We have way to many players!!!! We're doing a 1/2 off sale on ALL players at Kate's Track Shack. We also have probably 300-400 car players that we will be selling. Some may work and some may not. Some may have k***s, etc, missing. They will go up for $20 ea + s/h. Most of the boxes say what brand the player is but sometimes a player may have been put in the wrong box (by the person we got them from). We'll post pics of as we put them up. At this price, we won't go in and take pics of the players. Think of this as a "grab bag". Hopefully what it says on the box is what you'll be getting. If it's not, you won't have paid much and can resale it and make more! These players are being sold as-is.

Stop by and take a look! If you're interested in buying the car players in bulk, just let us know. You can pick up, or we can ship (you pick up the tab from 76017).
