WE STARTED A GOFUNDME!

Started by LouLou Marino, who’s been a part of Studio PAUSE since it opened, this is our first ever crowd-funding campaign! We hope you’ll join us in supporting our new project.

We’re building a new Studio PAUSE Community Gallery Exhibit, inviting people who live, work, and play in Arlington to share their unique perspectives on Virginia. It’s a glimpse into the myriad interpretations, stories, and experiences that make up our community, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution and Independence of the United States. As we do this we learn about our state, its history, and the people who live in it. Click, donate, and join us!

Hello, I'm LouLou Marino and I've been involved with Studio PA… LouLou Marino needs your support for Support Studio PAUSE’s Virginia250 Community Art Exhibit!

The fog comes / on little cat feet, but epiphanies lumber and wag their trunks.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? You wish I were an icy road on solstice night.
Death, be not proud; how unassuming, Life...

Come join Elise Cleva in "printing" our own poems & works of art from existing pieces that serve as our negatives! “With the warmest of hat tips to Lisa Russ Spaar, I'm leading a writing & art session at Studio PAUSE on Columbia Pike, Thurs., Jan. 8, 5:30 pm. It's free (although you're welcome to make a free-will offering to support Studio PAUSE, an incandescent resource for our community).” - Elise

Such a great experience to collaborate with Rev. Ashley Goff of Arlington Presbyterian Church on Columbia Pike, and be able to speak up in our own way about the harm being done in our community and counter it with memory, resistance, and care.

A new collaboration between a South Arlington church and a local artist is seeking to memorialize places where immigration enforcement has arrested people in Arlington. Led by the Rev. Ashley Goff, members of Arlington Presbyterian Church, artist Sushmita Mazumdar and other "trusted neighbors" set o...

And finally our new exhibit is up—“Through the Words of Photographers Tielie Guo and Alex Sakes” In the works since 2022 the exhibit puts their words alongside the images they create so we can understand how they think and feel as they document our state, city, and streets.
