Sauyaq Heather's Arctic Art I am an Inupiaq artist. I work with beads to create earrings and ornaments. Hello all,

I am from Alaska and lived there until I left for college.

I am Inupiaq (Inuit) and have lately felt rather disconnected from my culture, as I am living in Wisconsin. An Ojibwa friend of mine invited me over the other day to do art, and I have not stopped since! I am so happy to be working with seal skin. This is a sustainable catch, and the seal was eaten. I also make sure to use every last piece of the skin I can. I am hoping to expand to more designs.

Please feel free to make an order, even if it is not in the shop-I can make what you would like. The only colors I have now are the blue and gray. I have added some beach glass earrings and will have seashell earrings up soon. All the best,
