Our galleries are full of artwork from creatives close to ACA! Whether they are an artist member, an instructor, or a Studio Artist, their creativity and process is on display in two stellar exhibitions: "Members Show: Opposites Attract", and "Inside ACA." Get a peek inside what drives creativity at ACA and explore an artistic community in conversation with itself!

And be sure to save next Thursday evening in your calendar! We're celebrating our artist community and all the highlights of the last fiscal year with a Dual Reception and Annual Meeting Celebration on Thursday, October 15, 6-7:30pm. Meet the artists exhibiting in our two current exhibitions, celebrate the hard work of our staff, board, and community, and hear from our new Executive Director Mary-Liz Murray about some of her aspirations for ACA! Light refreshments will be served, free and open to the public.

Can't wait for the Jug Band fun tomorrow?! Get your pre-festival fix tonight at the Open Jug Band Jam 7:30-9:30pm, happening at Donut Villa Arlington (319 Broadway)! The Jug Nuts (, , and ) will be leading the way through a selection of tunes so grab a kazoo, uke, guitar, washboard, or even your voice! They’ll display lyrics and chords on a big screen, and lead the songs (and, if you show up empty-handed, they'll also have some home-made instruments for you to try out).

IMPORTANT FESTIVAL UPDATE: In light of the forecasted storm on Saturday, we are moving the music to the Arlington Community Center at 27 Maple St! Same time, same line-up, just a bit less wind and rain!

And don't forget, we're kicking things off Friday, September 25 at 7:30pm at Donut Villa with an Open Jug Band Jam featuring our good friends and event favorites, The Jug Nuts!

Beat the stormy weather blues with us indoors as we keep warm Friday and Saturday to the sounds of some of the region's hottest Jug Bands!

This year's Great Northeast Jug Band Festival welcomes an all female-fronted line up including the Dirty Mother String Band, Zoe Lewis and the Educated Fleas, and Annie and the Jug Tappers! Each band brings their own style and approach to this good-time music and will have you toe tappin' and knee slappin' all afternoon! Join us this Saturday, September 26, 1-6pm at the Jason Russell House B**r Garden and Music Series, hosted by Arlington Brewing Company! (Rain location is Arlington Community Center at 27 Maple St!)
