Gingerbread House Cake Nailedit class was tonight. Students made gingerbread cookie cutouts with real gingerbread dough, and assembled it all on a delicious , freshly made vanilla cake.
When planning our traditional gingerbread house class, we decided this year to create something people could actually take home and eat—without losing a tooth.

Price is per cake, $75 per cake, bring friends and family to work on one or two cakes.

Its TIME! Please consider joining us to serve our homeless friends close to home the day AFTER Christmas this year. We will be gathering in the AM at the church's kitchen which will be available the day AFTER Christmas. Cook & Serve is chef assisted meal making for Thanksgiving Dinner!! Forget doing it yourself or getting it prepared from a grocery story. We’ll teach you how to make these delicious recipes, DO THE CLEANING, and you can serve it on Thursday to your family. Bring your own bowls and serving platters!
Each meal makes 4 servings. You can buy extra servings, and cook for up to 16 people! Just think about the leftovers!!
VEGETARIANS: Yes we can make a vegetarian roulade! Vegetarian stuffing, sauce instead of gravy!
MAKE A MEMORY: Bring friends or family to help you make the dishes! Buy one seat and bring up to two people to complete the same dinner. Age restriction; adult must accompany children who are 15+.

Its been a wild ride. Grew up here in my early culinary days but Cookology at Dulles/Sterling location coming to an end. I know when there is an end there always comes a new beginning. Will miss this place. Cookology Dulles/Sterling 10/30/22 RIP.

Nothing says “I love my job” like monogrammed aprons. And there were a few trained chefs in this group!
Culinary Bootcamp is a six-week-Saturday session. Each session will build on the next.
Each week will focus on knife skills, and an introduction to stocks and sauces. Moist heat and dry heat cooking methods will be covered, with a concentration on braising, searing, and combination cooking. Finally at the end of the series we will do and introductory to egg cookery and savory quick breads.
Menu:
Week 1 - Beef Bourguignon. Horseradish Mashed Potatoes, Knife Skills (9 cuts), Stocks (beef, chicken, vegetable)
Week 2 - Coq Au Vin Blanc, Polenta, Vinaigrette, Salad, All Purpose Quick Cake/Dessert/Frosting Glaze
Week 3 - Blackened Pork, Roasted Cauliflower, Rempoulade, Poaching Fish, Vegetable Cookery (brussel sprouts), Corn Bread
Week 4 - Steak Au Poivre, Caramelized Onion Gratin, Poached Egg, Hollandaise
Week 5 - Stuffed Chicken, Saffron Parmesan Risotto, White Wine Pan Sauce, Omelet Cookery, Pie Crust
Week 6 - Southern Biscuits, Basic White Bread/Soft Roll/Amish, Mini Chopped Challenge, Dine together

We have classes at both locations for all ages on Friday night for older kids to celebrate dad, to Saturday with a morning Daddy & Me class (ages 3+), to Sunday Brunch, Baking with Daddy (ages 5+) and family cupcake wars for all ages.
