Seriously the best...

Voss DJ is so great! My husband really wanted a band for our wedding, but due to COVID restrictions I felt a DJ would be better. My best friend had hired Norman a few years back for her own wedding and I thought he was great, so we hired him for our own wedding. After the big day, my husband was BLOWN away by how great Norman is and wouldn't have wanted our wedding music any other way. Norman is very talented (you should absolutely have him sing at your cocktail hour if you are having one) and he knows how to keep the dance floor active! He is great at taking requests (and an "absolutely do-not-play" list from the bride and groom beforehand), but he can also assess the vibe and play music accordingly. Highly recommended!

Fantastic DJ/MC/Performer!

Norman was wonderful to work with and really made our wedding spectacular. The pre-wedding music was awesome and his performances at the reception were extremely memorable. He created a very warm and inviting feeling and played all of the songs we requested. As an MC, he did an amazing job as well. Highly recommend!!

We can not say enough good things about Norman Voss

Norman Voss is so talented and we can not recommend him enough!! First off, he is so easy to work with, we planned our wedding during COVID and had to make many changes along the way. He is so flexible and responsive, he can handle anything you throw at him. Second, he is an amazing artist. Not only will he DJ any music you would like, but he is a very talented singer and guitarist! He has a beautiful voice and all your wedding guests will be blown away by him. You are getting a live musician for the price of a DJ with Norman.

Since I haven't posted in awhile here are some singing during cocktail hour and guitar during ceremony examples. Of course I also DJ the best dance songs when it's time to celebrate, but for cocktail hour and ceremony it adds some extra class to have live entertainment.

After 6 months I finally DJ'd a wedding. The wedding was held at River Farm on the Potomac River in Alexandria and the reception at Top of the Town overlooking Washington D.C. 2 great locations.

Another GREAT review!!

Voss Weddings was A-MA-ZING! I highly recommend them as a DJ and photographer/videographer! As most brides, I had a certain vision in my mind of what I wanted on my wedding day. For me, that included the music! I had specific music/songs I wanted played and at specific times (from prior to walking down the aisle to the last song played…this ranged from Classical, Rock-n-Roll, Country, Motown, Oldies, Hip-Hop, Line dances, etc.). Voss Weddings played everything I wanted (and even made it more personal by singing a few). My husband and I couldn’t decide on our first dance song and they recommended a compilation. We narrowed it down to 3 songs and they created the perfect first dance for us!!
We live in NOVA but were married 2 hours away in the Northern Neck. Voss Weddings had no problem traveling to help us make our day the best! Due to weather on our wedding day, we ended up having to make several last-minute changes. They were great in making recommendations and accommodating the changes we needed to make. They really did help in making it stress free!
As far as our wedding photos and videos, I think they are great! We received a photo book, an 11 x 14 canvas, and thumb drive with almost 800 pictures and 27 video clips. I love the fact that it’s not one LONG video of the entire day but broken up so we can ‘jump’ to certain parts of the day. And with almost 800 pictures, we have so many great memories! They also arrived early to take pre-wedding pictures of both the bride and groom getting ready.
As a typical bride, I emailed Voss Weddings several times prior to our wedding as I was constantly making changes and then verifying and reverifying everything. Norman Voss ALWAYS responded within hours and was ALWAYS accommodating to my requests/changes.
