MoCA Arlington’s summer exhibitions open Saturday, June 27! We’ve got two wonderful group exhibitions and four fantastic solo shows for you to see.
Material Matters brings together nine alumni of MoCA Arlington’s residency program, with a focus on material experimentation. The exhibition features work by Negar Ahkami, Shahla Arbabi, Roxana Geffen, Sarah Hardesty, Marissa Long, Danielle Mysliwiec, Ryan McCoy, Foon Sham, and Rachel Schmidt and is curated by Amanda Jirón-Murphy, MoCA Arlington curator and residency program manager.
SOLOS 2026 continues with three new solo exhibitions: Crasis: Rude Screen, Rowena Federico Finn: [fab-ri-keyt], and Lou Haney: Window Dressing.
In the Wyatt Resident Artists Gallery, Rebecca Rivas Rogers presents Attention to Detail a solo exhibition of new painting.
In the Jenkins Community Gallery, works from the collection of Kathy and Jerry Freshley speak to their decades-long commitment to supporting art and artists in Arlington and beyond.
Join us on Saturday, June 27, 5pm-8pm for Art After Hours! Celebrats the new exhibitions, meet exhibiting artists, visit resident artist studios, and enjoy Negar Ahkami’s interactive dance experience Y’all Go Rhythm in the Tiffany Gallery.
