“Inviting painting traditions and graphic illustration techniques into her process, Julie Wallace playfully depicts scenes of womanhood, domesticity, and simple pleasures. Using composition, color, and a multi-layered approach, Wallace creates environments dense with whimsy, wonder, and references to our digital lives and interior-selves. Julie is an artist and educator with a focus on digital illustration and design.
