Just finished up my latest creation, Yurtle the Sea Turtle.
A 5"x7" orginal.
My first turtle painting,inspired by my lovely neighbor, Kimmie, turtle-lover and former Hawaii resident.

The very far background is comprised of vintage dictionary pages. (remember those book-thingies?)
I like to think it gives the painting a little more interest.

Prints are available, but please be patient with me! This is a whole new process for moi....
And as Kimmie would say, "Love you! Mean it!"

Watercolor adventure in Grindelwald

Ever tried painting with watercolors while your models sprint away? 😅 My experience in Grindelwald, Switzerland, was a wild one! The breathtaking scenery inspired me, but my models had other plans. This watercolor technique is new for me, so I’d love to hear your tips or advice!
