How it all began...
What started as a small offering of masks by Marty Gasner to the local DFW Deadhead community quickly expanded beyond the borders of the DFW area to become a much bigger project. After a SOS was put out to her Deadhead sisters, the women responded in full and have now become a merry band of mask makers. When you request a mask and send your donation, 100% of your money is returned to those in need in the musical community in the DFW area. DFW Mask Makers for Music have now made hundreds of masks and have made their first donation to the Deep Ellum Art Company, the clubhouse of the DFW Deadheads. We hope to continue our mask making efforts to keep our Jamily healthy and to continue to give back to those who have always provided us with so much love and musical joy.
