So proud of my dear friend Anushi for completing these stunning Kutch and Kashmiri Taka embroidery works on sarees and dupattas. The intricate detailing, vibrant colors, and patience behind every motif truly reflect the beauty of our traditional hand embroidery art.

From the bold geometric Kutch patterns to the delicate Kashmiri Taka stitches, each piece carries its own charm and story. Watching your creativity and hard work unfold through every fabric has been so inspiring!

As the new year began, I received a special request to teach a painting for a meaningful cause.
The subject was deeply close to my heart, even though neither of us had experienced this place in person.

That’s where our journey began, with research, stories, and heartfelt inputs from friends who had witnessed its spiritual beauty. Inspired by their experiences, we set out to bring this vision to life.

Stroke by stroke, layer by layer, the painting slowly came alive and here it is.

Surabhi poured her heart into this piece, beautifully translating her vision onto canvas, which she then generously donated to her town’s temple community center .
It was a truly rewarding experience working on this painting and guiding Surabhi in exploring and expressing her artistic potential.

P.S. This painting is an artist’s interpretation of the magical evenings in Varanasi during the Ganga Aarti.
