Would you, could you… come to Ravinia?

JAM Orchestra makes its Ravinia Festival debut with Dr. Seuss Goes to the Opera on August 29, 2026 at 1:30pm in the Martin Theatre as part of Ravinia’s Kids Concert Series.

Featuring operatic adaptations of Green Eggs and Ham and Gertrude McFuzz, with music by Robert Kapilow and the original text by Dr. Seuss, the performance pairs professional opera singers with a chamber orchestra conducted by JAM Artistic Director Aaron Kaplan.

A lively, colorful production that brings the stories to life with playful staging and moments that invite the audience to join the fun.

A joyful introduction to opera for young audiences and a delightful afternoon for the whole family.

On January 11, 2025, Beloved Broadway with Nathan Gunn and Friends brought an unforgettable evening of music to Nichols Concert Hall. Grammy-Winner Nathan Gunn was joined by singers Lisa Buhelos, Ryan Bryce Johnson, Eldon Warner-Soriano, Lara Brooks, and Maya Cornejo, with the incredible 35-piece JAM Orchestra under the direction of Aaron Kaplan.
