✨ Auditions Announced! ✨
The Theater Lab, a District 214 Community Education program, is excited to announce auditions for “A Midsummer Night's Dream” by William Shakespeare — the closing production of our 10th anniversary season!

We’re a friendly, collaborative company that welcomes performers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you’re new to Shakespeare or a seasoned performer, we’d love to see you audition!

🎭 Auditions: Tuesday, May 19, 2026 | 8:00–10:00 p.m.
�📍 Forest View Education Center Theater (Arlington Heights)

📝 Please prepare a 2–3 minute monologue. Shakespeare or a classic monologue is encouraged, but all monologues are welcome.

We at The Theater Lab simply cannot thank thee enough,
For thy support of our production of Shakespeare’s classic tale of love and woe,
’Twas known by us as “the-show-that-never-was”, for the pandemic, our first attempt it did crush,
’Tis been a long time in the making, our telling of the story of Juliet and her Romeo.

’Twas a wondrous adventure and true labor of love in so many ways,
Everything thee has done for us has not gone unnoticed, and we thank thee for it all,
“Romeo and Juliet” was magical to share (even after all the delays!),
And we extend to thee our gratitude for thy support, whether ’twas large or small!
