On the surface, we may think live theater is simply actors on a stage, an audience in their seats, and a place where the arts are celebrated. We don't think about how transformative it is.
For some, our theater has become a second home — a place where shy voices grow stronger and confidence quietly blooms.
Whether old or young, it is laughter in the green room, warm conversations after rehearsals, and finding friends who feel like family. It connects people of all ages in a way few places can.
Our directors, set designers, those who run lights & sound, those who sew costumes spend countless hours behind the scenes. They do so, not for recognition or pay, but because they believe in the life-changing power of theater.
They have seen firsthand how it transforms people. Many of our actors, musicians, and volunteers carry their own stories of growth and belonging because of this place.
Performers, backstage crew, and volunteers are given the opportunity to learn, grow, and receive mentorship without paying a single cent. This is priceless!
Knowledge, encouragement, & creativity are passed down freely by people who simply want others to experience the same joy and transformation they once found themselves.
We think this is pretty special. ⭐🎭
