My name is Alex Born, I am the founder of Free Book Pickup MN. I started this adventure when I decided to de-clutter my living space and simplify my life by getting rid of my book collection. I soon realized that there are many people out there looking to do the same thing, and so my entrepreneurial DNA took over and I started Free Book Pick Up MN. h guitar in Shoreview at Rockwell Guitar School and play in a couple of bands and ensembles around town. But let’s be honest: most musicians, even talented and well-trained ones, don’t always make a lot of money. Although the internet has made it much easier to find a niche and make a living, I was never really persuaded by the value proposition that crowd sourcing or streaming royalties offered. In order to support my musical pursuits, I wanted to help solve a serious problem that many people struggle with: clutter. If YOU are someone that has a lot of books that you just want to disappear: we will travel to your location, pick up your books, and recycle them for you at no cost to you. Recycling means reselling profitable titles on the internet and giving others to the local book recycler and/or thrift store of your choice-- if no preference is indicated, it will probably be Goodwill or Salvation Army.
