⛳🏆The PEGT Tour Stop 4: Music City Madness delivered three different Sunday stories and reshaped the season race.
Andy Fox went 6-0 from the #9 Main seed, knocked out defending champion and #1 qualifier Burak Temel, then beat Sean Gervais twice by one stroke to win the Main. That makes his Title count 9 (6 Main's, 2 Top Guns & a Purple) making him the 4th most decorated player on tour.
Matt Weinert won Purple from seed #88, the deepest Purple championship starting position in PEGT history, beating out Erik Nelson’s Purple run from the 87th seed back in 2023. This earned him a 2027 Worlds Pass as well.
Ryan Hill recovered from a −8 on Gunnison Gap to win Pink (6-0) from seed #103 making this his 2nd Pink title. Like a lot of players, the qualifiers masked some sleepers due to Gunnison causing havoc, swinging people into brackets they didn't belong. Apart from Temel, Gunnison had an average of 11.3 stroke deference from the qualifier setup compared to the top finishers results on the same course. Either Gunnison setup was extremely difficult during the qual or alcohol could have played a part.. 😬😁
🌟Saturday belonged to Temel at -148, while also taking down two course top scorers giving him the best qualifier in the Stop’s history. Being the defending champ, he came out strong and although didn’t go back-to-back, his 3rd place finish moved him into 3rd place on the Season’s leaderboard. So another good run for the Turk.
Paul Luna's podium consistency moved him from 2nd to 1st in the season standings after finishing 4th in Main.

In other news Joshua Navon and Paul Same made their first career Main cuts (congrats!), while PEGT saw 17 first time Tour players in the 150 man field during the main event. A field that was dominated by Locals (TN), Missourians and Kentuckians (is that a word?)
