Creating a haunted attraction at this level takes an incredible team of talented contractors and artists. Here’s a perfect example. Kale and Rob, two of America’s top scenic artists who work full time at Universal Studios, made the trip to Kersey Valley to add their magic to our facility. Huge thanks to them for the amazing work distressing our tumbleweeds and helping bring another layer of realism to the experience. The details make all the difference, and these guys absolutely delivered.

Summer build season is moving fast, and we don’t mess around. Behind the scenes, an army of contractors, builders, and skilled tradespeople are working every day to create what will be our biggest haunted attraction yet. The scale of the projects are massive across the farm, and it takes serious manpower, coordination, and dedication to bring it all to life. Stay tuned. What’s coming this fall is unlike anything we’ve built before.

Laying the Blockwork in the Summer Heat



With the footings complete, it was time to start laying block. This phase of the project took place during some of the hottest days of summer, with temperatures soaring and little relief from the sun. Despite the challenging conditions, steady progress was made as each course of block was carefully laid, checked for level, and aligned to create a strong foundation for the structure above.

Working in extreme heat required constant hydration, frequent breaks, and a commitment to maintaining quality workmanship throughout the day. Every block placed brought the project one step closer to completion, showcasing the dedication, skill, and perseverance needed to build in demanding conditions. The finished blockwork provides the strength and stability that will support the next stages of construction.
