EXIT Theatre Presenting Indie since 1983 and operating a theater in Arcata California

We previously operated a five venue, 250 seat theatreplex in the Tenderloin district of downtown San Francisco, which closed in December of 2022. Currently we maintain a single, 50 seat venue in San Francisco (EXIT on Taylor) and a 35 seat venue in Arcata, CA. Besides year-round performances EXIT Theatre also hosts and produces the San Francisco Fringe Festival.

EXIT Theatre has finalized the ten shows for its 35th annual EXIT Theatre Fringe Festival. Each show will receive three performances between November 5th and November 22nd. Tickets are $4 to $15; the link to the TICKETS IS IN THE FIRST COMMENT.

All performances are at EXIT Theatre, 890 G Street, 2nd Floor, on the Plaza in Arcata.

Weapon of Mass Seduction by Michele Simms of Lenny Kaboom from Eureka, CA: Veteran actress and comedian Michele Simms invites you to her wacky solo romp featuring the bombastic Betsy Wetness and other unforgettable characters. Playful and interactive, with a dash of naughtiness, this hilarious and heartfelt show promises lots of fun.
A self-proclaimed pin-up, Betsy Wetness, seduces in song. A blues singer on antidepressants tries her best. A commercial jingle producer takes her job very seriously. Weapon of Mass
Seduction is a solo sketch show with characters, musical numbers and improv that make up a 45-minute romp of silliness and heart. Directed by Arnie Ellis. Michele Simms has taken her solo
work off Broadway as part of the United Solo Festival. You may have seen her in Carvana’s
Super Bowl commercial and in the feature "A Christmas Karen".

All That Glitters by Halley Bruno of Wild Nights Productions from Arcata: A gutsy plunge into the pleasures, sorrows, and confessions of artists who strip down to their souls. When the velvet curtain is drawn back, something more daring than flesh is revealed: the intimate drama that unfolds when fantasy and identity collide.
