NPA Theater is proud to announce that NPA Junior Oliver Schroder will be a writer and assistant director for our upcoming play Alice: Adventures in Wonderland!
Schroder was asked by Jean Bazemore to write an original adaptation of Alice in Wonderland in early December. Since then, he’s helped with casting for the play, as well as the first stages of rehearsals.
Before he joined Alice, Schroder was part of Apprentice Entertainment’s 10 Minute Play Festival, where he wrote and directed the playlet Hope and James, and co-directed another, Genesis.
Schroder’s vision for the play is a “really surrealist, meta comedy.” He looks forward to using Gist Hall’s resources in his play.
Alice: Adventures in Wonderland and Hamlet open the weekend of January 30.
