I was pregnant from April - December 2025.
A special pregnancy because I was pregnant with twins and for the last time.

During my pregnancy , Fabi and I got to visit my home town in Mexico. Something I hadn’t done for 13 years and Fabi’s first time to meet family and stay at my grandmother’s house.

It was a connection to some of my childhood memories and a reunion to my family Fabi had never experienced.
While there I took photos of my grandmother’s house and brought them back for this meaningful shoot.
did his magic and these were the results.

I have so much to say about women hood, parenthood, family, inheritance and so much more. I feel like I’m still processing in my postpartum phase.
A zine will surely develop, but as I look back, almost three months postpartum I’m in awe with myself for what I accomplished during that time and for what my body was able to do. Something I couldn’t clearly see in the exhaustion and pain of pregnancy and delivery.

I’m still exhausted and my body is still healing, but I’m energized by my littles ones and the love and support our community has given us. I’m just grateful.

In April 2024 I visited Cal Poly Humbolt as their first artist in residence and now I’m back for the third rendition of, Gather, Hold, Ground. I feel so lucky to have opportunities like this that link me to wonderful people and extend my community. So much work has gone into this and being 7 months pregnant with twins, I’m so grateful for all the hands that have helped install and shape this exhibition. ❤️🙏❤️
We don’t do anything alone.
Celebration is Required and I don’t want to celebrate alone.

“Gather, Hold, Ground: Lucha por Comunidad”
Will be up until Dec. 13th.

Gather, Hold, Ground in Arkansas was so successful and meaningful to me, I’m so excited to be able to bring it to Portland.

Please join me for the second round of
Gather, Hold, Ground at
On Sunday, September 29
From 1:00-3:00pm.

Gather, Hold, Ground is:
Gathering of stories through zines.
Holding storytime as a direct way to connect to the community.
Grounding ourselves through the sharing of each other’s stories.

For this event, I will be hosting story time, where I will read my new zine called, “Hey, Kiddo”, alongside other zines written by other zinesters. This event is free and open to all ages.

I will also be installing a zine installation at the IPRC’s zine library. This installation consists of tufted rugs and quilt square designs and will be installed through mid October.
So, if you can’t make it out on the 29th, you can still visit the installation afterwards.

New stage went up at today! We’re gearing up for our Gather, Hold, Ground event and we hit the ground running this Monday morning.

Huge props to the my dad 🫶🏽 and for building this out. We’re excited to host and on Friday night! 🎉

Planning for this event has been a real labor of love.
We’ve had to go through major shifts, but with each shift community has continuously shown up. ❤️‍🩹

This event is a celebration of love, community and our collective liberation. We believe that in this fight for liberation Celebration is Required! We will literally be gathering, holding space for each other and grounding ourselves with our stories. As Artists, we show up with creativity, love and intention and that’s what we aim to do.

We have over 30 local and national artists participating!!!
A percentage of all art and zine sales will be donated to benefit the children of 🇵🇸 Palestine.
